It goes in slower and falls out faster than it used to, and no amount of willpower changes that basic biology. What actually works for adult learners tends to be less about cramming and more about spaced repetition, sleep (memory consolidation happens overnight, exactly when adults sacrifice sleep first), and accepting that forgetting something twice before it sticks is normal, not failure. What's the trick that actually worked for you?

Spaced repetition genuinely works, I resisted it for years and I was wrong

What would you do differently if you started again?
